Handling Large Sheets of Plywood.

When cutting large panels on my table saw it's hard to always get a good accurate, straight cut. So, I employ the use of an all purpose feather board with a backer hold-down.

You can see the set-up in the picture to the right. The feather board holds the sheet firmly against the fence as you slide the sheet through the blade. This simple step can dramatically change the quality of your cuts.

Adding the backer hold-down prevents the feather board from moving so each and every cut will be as good as the first.
