Sun Room

This is the story of a poorly built and badly rotted screened-in-porch. The owner of this house wanted new windows and a new door to make it more like a three season porch. I think it's on it way to become the room off the kitchen if you know what I mean. Here are some pictures of this porch as it stood just before I tore it down.

This wall will actually hold up the building back end while I replace the framing. This room was a bit odd in it's construction. The corner of the second story is supported by a double 2x12 that runs down about two thirds the way in the screen rooms ceiling. This needed to be supported as well.
