ML Campbell, Fuhr 355 and Tung Oil.

picture of mahogany wood sample with tounge oil finish

Anothert test I did using Fuhr 355 was a color test up against ML Campbell and Tung Oil.

The picture dosen't really show the difference well, but there is one. The ML Campbell was a "bit" clearer looking then the 355, but was still not anything like the Tung oil.

In my opinion the MLC had slightly more of the "solvent look" when applied on bare or natraul wood then 355.

You can bring both finishes to a great solvent look just by first appling an undercoat of shellac.
